We had a very positive experience with Carl and Denise Chretien of Chretien Construction when they remodeled our cottage in Southern         Maine in the winter of 2006.  We were introduced to Chretien Construction by our architect, and from the very beginning they took the time to     find out what we were looking for and what we valued in our construction expectations, and they contributed excellent planning ideas to all         aspects of the project, from beginning to end.

 

    We live out of state and other than one visit just before they began work and one visit in mid-stream, all of our contact was by e-mail.  When issues arose, we were able to easily resolve those with the help of pictures which they would send to us.  When decisions had to be made about elements of the project, they suggested excellent web sites for us to review before we made our choices and decisions.

 

    Not only did we benefit from their construction expertise, they also made a number of excellent aesthetic calls that brought us a renovated cottage that was even better than our expectations.  They finished the project on time and on budget, and the result is a source of pride to us and a testament to their high standards.  Without any reservations whatsoever, we can recommend Chretien Construction.
